Affiliate disclosure
This site earns a commission when somebody follows a buying button and completes a purchase. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. That line is in the footer of every page, and this page is the longer version of it.
What that means in practice
- The price you pay is the same whether you arrive through this site or type the address yourself. The commission comes out of the seller's side, not yours.
- A buying button opens a new tab. Nothing is bought on this site and nothing can be.
- The commission is a percentage, which means an expensive machine earns more than a cheap one. We have therefore written the guidance here to send people to the smallest machine that does the job, and the arithmetic for that is shown so you can check it.
What it does not change
It does not change which machines appear. Everything we currently make and that is in stock is on the site, cheap and expensive alike, and nothing is promoted for paying its way. It does not change the star ratings, which are the pooled figures from buyers of the machine, printed as they stand.
Why it is worth saying twice
A reader who finds out later that a page was paid for stops trusting the page, and they are right to. Saying it in the footer, saying it here and saying it before the arithmetic costs us nothing and is the only version of this that works.
Where the money does not come from
There is no advertising on this site, no sponsored placement, no paid review and no third party who has bought a mention. If that ever changes it will be written on this page before it is anywhere else.
